My Lovely Hometown!!

Dear readers,

Some of you only know that I'm living at Malaysia, but I never mentioned my specific place or my hometown isn't it? Have you guys ever heard about Jerantut before?? Well for Malaysian I bet everybody knows where is it but for my international readers have anyone of you came to my hometown??

Some readers might wonder, what is so special about this blogger hometown?? For those whose living in the big city or far from hometown, when hometown word appear on your mind; what would be the first thought?? Some of you might thinking of lovely family, mom's cooking, childhood memories and lots more. That's just an ordinary thought isn't it??

Well for me, when I was away (living at big city long time ago), hometown meaning everything to me, from mom's cooking, childhood memories, favorite salon, lovely family and friends all come together. When "balik kampung" event is around the corner, I was like jumping and can't wait for my journey. However as currently I am living at my hometown, those things were not meaning so much to me, yet there is other thing that come on my mind. My hometown is one of major attraction place to visit in Malaysia! Hence I need to do something about that ^^* so I decided to write something about my hometown.

Jerantut is well known all over the world as a gate to one of the most oldest rain forest in the world, Taman Negara Pahang (National Park). Every year millions tourists from around the world visit National Park. National Park can be access in two ways, either via land or via boat. From my hometown it takes only one hour drive, if you going there by boat it may take around 2 hours and half!

At National Park, there are several activities you can do like Canopy walkway, boating, fishing, rapid shooting, visiting "Orang Asli" and jungle trekking. For accommodation  there are some resorts, or place to stay around Taman Negara, you can simply choose according to your budget.  You can visit some of link below for more information:

Apart from National Park, we have other attractions at Jerantut, one of it is Kota Gelanggi Cave, this cave is popular among local but as there is no widely promotion been made so many foreigner didn't know about it. This cave is actually one of archaeology park in Malaysia. Here are some information about it.

We also have stunning and beautiful waterfall :D and again no promotion been made about this waterfall so not many people  know about it. ㅠ ㅠ Below is a link about Lata Meraung waterfall.

Last but not least is our newest attraction which is I-city Jerantut. This place is very suitable for picnic with family (during night). Me and my big family sometimes picnic here during weekend or held birthday party over here.
