Travel to South Korea on Chuseok day!

Hi readers,
It's been so long since my last post, I hope you guys were in the pink of health and happy always :)
Today I felt I wanna write about Korea. These days when I heard anyone going to South Korea,I felt excited and wishing I can be there too! Oh how I miss Korea badly!! Visiting Korea on one of their most-celebrated holidays is not a wrong choice. However travelers need to double check before making a decision to travel.

Since Chuseok day is held on at Korea, most of Korean were on leave and gather with their family members to celebrate it. What is Chuseok day?? Chuseok day is originally known as "Hangawi" which is a major harvest festival and celebrated on 15th day of 8th month of Lunar calendar. Chuseok day will be celebrating for three days. Most of Korean will going back to their hometown for gathering with their family and relatives. Due to this, normally there would be congested traffics, sold out for bus and train tickets. For travelers, they must aware of this situation in order to prevent them from stuck at one place and it would be such a waste of time.

Before visiting any place during Chuseok days, travelers need to check whether the place is open or close and figure out on how to go to that place. Below I attached some useful link for travelers to check:

Beautiful Moment!

Dear Readers,
I believe everyone have their own beautiful moment in their life, be it their wedding ceremony, honeymoon or their child born day (for those who's married), graduation day, travelling or just ordinary daily day moment. It can be funny moment, embarrassing moment, sweet moment or sad moment. How can sad moment be a beautiful moment?? I know people might think am I out of my mind for telling sad moment can be a beautiful moment, but lets think out of box!

Personally, beautiful moment is something that will stick on our mind and heart forever, that is why I include sad moment is one of beautiful moment. People always says look forward and never look back as we can't reversed the time. All moment become history. However for me even if it were history I always cherish those moment all the time. Sometimes when we get upset, tired or lonely why don't we sit back and remember those moment, by remembering those moment sometimes we put a smile on our face unknowingly.

If we upset or mad with our family members or our love ones normally we tend to treat them bad. How can we prevent that to be happen? By remember those beautiful moment it can erase all the bad things about them. Isn't it beautiful?? For sad moment, if we think about it over and over again eventually we will get the answer, the answer could be "I need to improve myself to be a better person or it could be "luckily I've been through this and it taught me to be a stronger person."

How about a quarrel, if someone choose quarrel to be one of his or her beautiful moment, what is the impact of this? Sometimes people didn't realized it, when we having a quarrel and when we back at ease, we tend to be more close than before. Isn't it wonderful??

P/S: We are the one who decide whether to take it positively or negatively. Till then cherish everything around us, beautiful moment stays on our mind and heart forever!

Friendly Person vs Being Friendly

During an interview session, I believe most of people would state that friendly and easy-going would be some of their characters, but is it true?? What is the different between friendly person and being friendly? Those words seems familiar and similar isn't it?

However from my perspective friendly person and being friendly is two different characters. Everybody must be wondered why I says so.. Being friendly is a common sense, but friendly person is a gift and not everybody can have it.

Need some explanation?? Let me give some situation and from these situation may be readers can differentiate which one is being friendly and which one is friendly person. While waiting for a MRT, Alia were sitting alone and listening to her I-pod, then out of blue someone come and start talking to Alia, they keep talking until the MRT come and eventually become a friend. While for situation B, Heather was waiting for her boyfriend and she saw an old lady sit next to her. Heather start a conversation with an old lady and asking where she wanna go and the conversation keep continue until her boyfriend come. Readers, can you differentiate which one is being friendly and friendly person?

Still clueless about these?? As I told earlier, friendly person is a gift and not everybody can have it. If you love to observe people around you, you can differentiate those two characters. Normally friendly person will have sort of smiley face. Even if they were not smiling but their face showing as if they were smiling, or having sweet-faced. While being friendly is our behavior, which is our initiative to start conversation with others.
For those who were gifted to be a friendly person, always thankful for this special advantage as not everyone can have it, while for those who were not gifted, try to initiate any conversation and never think that your act is such a gimcrack.

Till then let's be friend with anyone, regardless color, faith or age. :)

Think before you speak!

I live at my hometown and working at rural area. Even though it was rural area but I am thankful for it existing, without this rural area my hometown would probably less develop. What is so special about this rural area?? Well, this rural area were never fail to attract people from around the world for every single day. Less infrastructure such as bank, shop, transportation system and limited channel for communication especially internet line is not excuses for it to fail attract people, this place is one of the jewel for my country.

Apart from infrastructure, there is ONE thing that really need to be IMPROVED in order to survive. This one things is not related to tangible items though. I know everybody might thinking what is it. The thing that need to be IMPROVED or CHANGE is its LOCAL MENTALITY. I agree that some of them (especially folks) were not having a properly education but for me that's not a reason for them to think that they can do anything.

This mentality is not only can influence their youngsters but also destroy their future. There are rules and regulations that we need to follow but somehow some of them denied it and telling everyone that "You are just an outsiders, since you were in our place you need to agree with us." Let me ask; if they telling you to commit a crime do we need to follow them?? I believe sane people will definitely disagree with that because we are aware with rules and regulations. However for them,"its our place so we can simply do anything, without any fear of having troubles later."

Some of them also thinking that outsiders were coming and trying to taking their wealth. Is it by running a business around their place is taking their wealth?? From my perspective they were deadly wrong, THEY are the one that should be THANKFUL as we running our business around their place, they get a chance to work, provide good education for their child and having secure financial. THEY should not forget, without us as outsiders there would be NO development around their village. This "kampung style" should be CHANGE and I wish they would realized about this before it is too late...

I am proud to be MALAYSIAN

As I am working in hospitality sector, I met tourists from all over the world almost every single day. Whenever I got a chance to talk to them I will ask them "hows Malaysia or What do you like the most about Malaysia?" Lots of reasons came out from them but most of them agreed that "We envy your country, seeing  a diversity of culture at Malaysia is one of the best experience ever! Seeing Malaysian live in harmony, sharing same value, cuisine, cultural make us feel as we were in heaven and thinking of coming back again in the future." When I heard these from them I feel very proud and would love to share it to an entire universe! ^_^

I believe as Malaysian each of us would agreed that we were lucky to be born here, we shared same value, same cuisine and what else we could ask for more? I can enjoy my Tosey(Indian cuisine) for my breakfast, I can enjoy Asam Laksa (Malay cuisine) for my lunch and Char Kuey Teow (Chinese cuisine) for my dinner without having any trouble here and that's the best for me. :D

I still remembered when I am on travelling, meeting Malaysian abroad and we were exciting greeting to each other just makes me think if we were at home!! :D For Malaysian wherever you go, lets spread around about our lovely country and be proud to be Malaysian!  I love Malaysia!!

Happy 55th National Day!
